This is not just about a place that is located on the United States map. This is about a place where I grew up and where people still reside. Berkshire, New York might be a small town now but there is a long history hidden beneath the run down homes, its landmarks and the businesses the still stand today. Although I grew up here for most of my life, I have never really learned about the history of this place. In this paper, I will discuss the multiple perspectives; historical, geographical, cultural, and economical. I will also analyze, synthesize and/or  interpret different perspectives in relation to Berkshire.
